Motorcycle Destinations
Central Mexico motorcycle trips offer a stunning array of curvy roads, breathtaking scenery, big adventure and and cultural delights. San Miguel Moto can provide motorcycle route suggestions, "must-see" areas and places to avoid. Or we can provide motorcycle tour guide services and leave all of the planning and routes to us.
Day Trips
Peña de Bernal: A 433m (1,421 ft) monolith, one of the tallest in the world. It is considered one of the 13 Natural Wonders of Mexico.
Santa Rosa: One of the best motorcycling roads in Mexico. Riders from all over swarm here on the weekend. It's a day trip from San Miguel
Xichu: This town is on the edge of the famous Sierra Gorda mountain range. A beautiful approach on a motorcycle. It's a nice ride there and back in a day, with lunch in the middle.
Longer Trips:
Xilitla: This is a charming ancestral town, magical and a surreal place. The weather is temperate year round and and the vegetation is lush. The coffee plantation and the Edward James Gardens are wonderful destinations, as well as the waterfalls and vistas.
Sierra Gorda Biosphere: Aptly named the “green jewel in the heart of Mexico”, the Sierra Gorda has a reputation as being ‘hard to reach’ keeping most of the masses away. The Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve has a little of everything, forests, deserts, and gaping canyons. The area is extremely rugged with high steep mountains and deep canyons.
Las Grutas Tolantongo: A collection of hot spring pools, caves and waterfalls built into a cliff in Hidalgo, located in a beautiful canyon. The blue waters are shockingly beautiful.
San Joaquin: San Joaquín is nestled in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro. It is a picturesque and colorful town and is a Pueblos Magico. Home to archeological sites, caves and waterfalls. And the road that descends into town is magical on a motorcycle.
State of Hidalgo: Its mining heritage and colorful towns offer us the image of a destination that resembles a fairy tale. It's a popular destination for adventure tourism, where visitors can practice climbing, hiking, fishing and mountain biking. Discover its legendary archaeological remains. And don't forget the caves, waterfalls and hot springs.
Most Dangerous Roads in Mexico: This is code for the coolest roads in Mexico on a motorcycle.
